Customer Background: The customer runned a clothing business in Spain and regularly sources garments from suppliers in China. He was looking for a reliable shipping partner to coordinate with the supplier, check the product quality, and arrange transportation to Spain.

We coordinated with the Dongguan supplier, arranged cargo pickup and inspection, and helped resolve the quality issues identified before shipment. Since the replacement goods became available later, we organized the cargo into two batches: 178 cartons plus 74 cartons in the first batch, followed by 30 cartons in the second batch. 

Step 1: Coordinate with the Supplier

We contacted the supplier in Dongguan to confirm the cargo details, preparation status, and pickup requirements. We also communicated the customer’s product-checking requirements before arranging collection.

Step 2: Arrange Cargo Pickup

Once the goods were ready, we arranged transportation from the supplier to our warehouse. This allowed our team to check the hoodies and manage shipment preparation before international transportation.

Step 3: Inspect the Hoodies

After receiving the cargo, our team checked the hoodies according to the customer’s requirements and identified products with quality issues. These findings could then be addressed while the goods were still in China.

Step 4: Arrange Replacement Goods

We communicated the identified issues to the supplier and coordinated replacement of the affected products. The supplier prepared the replacement goods separately, allowing the initial shipment to proceed while the replacements were being arranged. 

Step 5: Organize Two Shipment Batches

The first batch consisted of 178 cartons plus 74 cartons, totaling 252 cartons. The additional 30 cartons of replacement goods formed the second batch, bringing the total shipment quantity to 282 cartons.

Step 6: Arrange Rail Freight DDP

We arranged Rail Freight with DDP and Door-to-Door service from China to Spain for each batch when ready. The service included import customs clearance and applicable duties and taxes under the agreed DDP terms, together with final delivery coordination.

Step 7: Complete Door-to-Door Delivery

After the required destination procedures were completed, we coordinated final delivery to the customer in Spain. The reported transit time was approximately 29 days.
